Virginia's 69th House District straddles the James River and consists of citizens from the City of Richmond and Chesterfield County.
Within the 69th are at least part of eight James River crossings. To the north, our district is bounded by Floyd Avenue and Main Street and includes Carytown, Randolph, Byrd Park, the Carillon area, Kanawha Trace, and Oregon Hill.
The majority of our district lies to the south of the James River. It includes Westover Hills, Forest Hills, Woodland Heights, Woodstock, Oxford, Swansboro, Blackwell, Hillside, Oak Grove-Bellmeade and neighborhoods. Our district extends down the Hull Street, Jefferson Davis, and Midlothian corridors into Chesterfield.
Our district consists of many notable places and attractions including Hollywood Cemetery, a majority of the James River Park System, Maymont Park, Forest Hill Park, the Virginia War Memorial and the Carillon, which is Virginia's official memorial to those lost during World War I. The district also includes the historic and revitalized Manchester area.
